Jessica Simpson signs new record deal

Jessica Simpson has signed a new $35 million deal with her record label, Columbia Records.

A spokesperson for the label said "Jessica Simpson is one of the most consistent, hard-working artists we have on our roster. She really has earned this deal. But this wasn't an exchange of money for guaranteed anything."
